Third-party payments are prohibited
You must not:
Use another person's card, bank account, e-wallet, crypto wallet or payment details
Allow another person to use your payment method to buy an account
Purchase an account on behalf of another person
Purchase an account as a gift
Ask a family member, friend, colleague or community member to pay for your account
Receive a payout on behalf of another customer
Request that profits be paid to a third party
This applies even where the cardholder gave permission. A payment from a spouse, partner, parent, child, relative, friend, employer, employee, company or community member is a third-party payment if the method isn't registered in your name.
Accounts cannot be bought as gifts
Recommend Traderscale with a referral link if you like, but the person receiving it must create their own profile and pay with a method in their own name. Gift intent doesn't exempt a payment from this policy.
If you're placed under review
Traderscale may request card ownership confirmation, a bank or payment statement, proof of the cardholder's name, evidence of the source of funds, an explanation of the relationship between connected account holders, or additional identity verification. Provide complete, accurate, unedited documents within the timeframe given — you may conceal unneeded sensitive information provided your name, the account details, transaction date, amount and merchant remain visible.
Outcomes
Where satisfactory evidence is provided, accounts may be reactivated and valid payouts processed. Where a third-party payment is confirmed, Traderscale may reject or cancel the payout, forfeit profits, deactivate or terminate connected accounts, restrict further purchases, or refund the original payment.
Treated as serious violations: knowingly buying an account for someone else, letting another trader use your payment method, repeated use of one method across different profiles, falsified payment evidence, and concealing who funded an account.
