Payment Method Policy

Quick answer: Your Traderscale profile, your account, your payment method, your identity documents and your payout method must all be in the same legal name. Third-party payments are prohibited — including from family, and including gifts.

Why this policy exists

It supports identity verification, payment security, fraud prevention and AML/KYC controls. It prevents account sharing, purchases made on behalf of others, and payment disputes.

Everything must match

All of the following must be registered in the same customer's legal name:

  • Your Traderscale customer profile

  • Your evaluation or funded account

  • The card, bank account or wallet used to purchase

  • The identity documents submitted at verification

  • The payout method used to receive profits

You may be asked to provide documents confirming ownership of your payment method.

One payment method, one name

A payment method must not be used across accounts registered in different names. Where the same card, bank account, wallet, payment token or payment fingerprint is detected across accounts in different names, all associated accounts are immediately deactivated pending compliance review.

Using one payment method across your own accounts is fine, provided all are in your name and you're within the $600,000 capital limit.

A successful payment is not approval

Payments are processed automatically by third-party providers. A payment going through does not mean it passed compliance checks or that a future payout is guaranteed. Payment ownership can be reviewed at any stage — purchase, verification, trading, payout, or later.

Your responsibility before purchase

Confirm your Traderscale account is in your own legal name, the payment method belongs to you, you're not purchasing for another person, and nobody else is authorised to use your method. Contact support before requesting a payout if a third-party payment has occurred — raising it yourself is materially better than it surfacing at review.
