Maximum Drawdown – Speedy (Trailing)

Quick answer: 8% trailing. The level follows your highest achieved equity or balance, whichever is higher, upward — and never comes back down. On $100,000 it starts at $92,000 and locks at $100,000 once you're 8% up.

Once you reach 8% in profit, the level locks at your starting balance and stops trailing.

Why did my level stay high after I gave back profit? A trailing threshold never moves down. Does it use closed profit? It uses highest achieved equity, which can include an intraday floating high.

A payout reduces your buffer — the level does not move down when you withdraw. See How Drawdown Affects Withdrawals.
