How to Activate Your Funded Account — Step-by-Step Checklist

Quick answer: Passing the evaluation is the first step. Your funded account becomes ready for trading only after identity verification is approved, the Funded Trader Agreement is signed, the funded account setup is completed, and you log in with the correct trading credentials and server.

This guide explains each stage, the most common reasons activation is delayed, and what information to send Support if you are still unable to trade.

⚠️ Important: A passed evaluation does not mean the funded account is immediately tradable. Do not attempt to trade until your funded credentials are available and the account is confirmed active.

Step 1 — Complete and pass identity verification

Open the Identity Verification page from the same TraderScale account that passed the evaluation:

Your verification must show as successfully completed. A submission that is still pending, incomplete, or rejected does not complete this step.

Before starting:

  • Use the exact legal name and date of birth shown on your identity document

  • Make sure the email and personal information belong to the account owner

  • Use a supported physical government-issued photo ID

  • Complete the selfie or liveness check yourself

❓ Common question: I submitted my documents. Why is my account not activated?

Submission and approval are different. The funded setup can only continue after the identity provider confirms the verification.

Accepted identity documents and image requirements

Veriff generally accepts the following supported government-issued photo identification:

  • Passport

  • Driving licence

  • National identity card, where supported

For the best chance of first-time approval, the document should:

  • Be valid and not expired

  • Be the original physical document

  • Show all four corners

  • Be clear, readable, and in focus

  • Have no glare, reflection, obstruction, or edited information

  • Match the legal name and personal details registered on the TraderScale account

❓ Common question: Can I use a screenshot, scan, or picture displayed on another device?

No. Use the original physical document and follow the live capture instructions shown during verification.

Documents and images that may be rejected

The following commonly fail verification:

  • Expired documents

  • Screenshots or photographs of a screen

  • Photocopies or scanned copies

  • Cropped, blurred, dark, or low-resolution images

  • Documents with hidden, edited, damaged, or unreadable information

  • Unsupported temporary or unofficial documents

  • An ID belonging to another person

  • Personal details that do not match the TraderScale profile

⚠️ Important: Do not create a second account or use another person's details to solve a mismatch. Contact Support so the correct account information can be reviewed.

Verification checklist before submitting

  • Use natural, even lighting and avoid glare

  • Clean the camera lens

  • Remove document covers or holders

  • Keep the full document inside the capture frame

  • Do not crop or edit the image

  • Follow every selfie and liveness instruction

  • Check that the TraderScale profile uses the same full legal name as the ID

  • Allow the verification page to access the camera

  • Use a stable internet connection

If the page freezes or the camera does not open, close other applications using the camera, refresh the page, or try a supported browser or device before contacting Support.

If verification is pending, unsuccessful, or rejected

Check the reason shown by Veriff before submitting again. Common causes include poor image quality, expired or unsupported identification, personal-information mismatch, or an unsuccessful selfie check.

What to do next:

  • Correct the issue identified by Veriff

  • Submit a new request only when the document and account details are ready

  • Do not repeatedly submit the same unclear or mismatched document

  • If the legal name or account information needs review, contact Support before trying again

Before contacting Support: Include your registered email, evaluation or funded account number, the verification status shown, the rejection reason, and a screenshot that does not expose unnecessary sensitive information.

Support cannot approve identity verification manually or bypass the identity provider's requirements.

Step 2 — Open, review, and sign the Funded Trader Agreement

After identity verification is approved, open:

Open the agreement linked to the correct funded account, review it carefully, complete every required field, and submit the signature.

Check that the contract status shows as signed or completed. Opening the agreement without submitting the signature does not complete this step.

❓ Common question: Why is no contract showing?

First confirm that identity verification is approved and that you are logged into the correct TraderScale account. Refresh the page or sign out and back in. If it is still missing, send Support the registered email, account number, KYC status, and a screenshot of the Contracts page.

⚠️ Important: Do not sign using another person's name. If the agreement contains incorrect personal or account details, contact Support before signing.

Step 3 — Wait for funded account setup and locate your credentials

After KYC approval and contract completion, the funded account may still need to finish the account-setup process before trading credentials are available.

When the account is ready, confirm that you have:

  • Funded account number

  • Correct trading server

  • Main or trading password

  • Platform details

  • Account status showing active or tradable

Check the Trader Area and the email address registered to your account, including spam or junk folders.

⚠️ Important: An investor or read-only password may allow you to view the account but will not allow order placement. Use the main trading password when trading.

Support cannot promise activation before all required checks and setup steps are complete.

Step 4 — Log in using the correct server and password

Use the exact funded account number, server, and main trading password provided for the funded account.

Recommended login steps:

  • Select the exact TraderScale server shown in the credentials

  • Type the account number and password manually

  • Remove accidental spaces before or after the password

  • Check characters that may look similar, such as O and 0 or I, l, and 1

  • Do not use the investor or read-only password for trading

  • Close and reopen the platform after changing credentials

  • Confirm the account is not marked read-only

❓ Common question: I can see the account but cannot place a trade.

This often means the investor password was used, the wrong server was selected, or activation is not yet complete. Include the exact platform error when contacting Support.

Step 5 — Select the funded symbols ending in "c"

Funded accounts use symbols with a lowercase "c" suffix, such as:

  • EURUSDc

  • GBPUSDc

  • XAUUSDc

The standard symbol without the suffix may appear in the platform but may not be tradable on the funded account.

If the symbol is not visible:

  • Open Market Watch or the instrument list

  • Select Show All, or search for the symbol with the "c" suffix

  • Confirm you are logged into the funded server, not an evaluation or another broker server

  • Restart or relog into the platform

❓ Common question: Why can I see XAUUSD but cannot trade it?

On funded accounts, the tradable symbol may be XAUUSDc. Select the symbol associated with the funded server.

Final activation checklist and when to contact Support

Before placing a trade, confirm every item below:

  • Evaluation is passed and the funded account is visible

  • Identity verification is approved, not merely submitted

  • The Funded Trader Agreement shows as signed or completed

  • Funded credentials have been issued

  • Correct account number and trading server are selected

  • Main trading password is used, not the investor password

  • Account is active and not read-only

  • Tradable symbols with the "c" suffix are visible

  • You have reviewed the applicable Risk Management Rules and Prohibited Trading Practices

If you still cannot trade, contact [email protected] and include:

  • Registered email

  • Evaluation and funded account numbers, where available

  • Platform and server

  • Exact error message

  • Screenshot of the login or order error

  • Confirmation of KYC and contract status

  • The troubleshooting steps already completed

This information allows Support to investigate without repeatedly asking for basic details.
